a long-held tradition here to check you do kids are annual Veterans Day program this year we have decided to remain virtually here because of covid-19 but we would like to welcome you to the 2122 take it Oak High School Veterans Day program happy Veterans Day my name is Daniel Foster I am the 2021-2022 senior class president here at chuckey-doak high school Veterans Day to me is a veterans without their sacrifice we cannot enjoy and take advantage of the freedoms that we have today in the US they put their lives on the line to protect our country and for that we are extremely only half the class of 2022 and check it up high school we thank you for your service hello chuckey-doak family it's an honor to speak with you on our celebration of Veterans Day my name is David serve as your 5th District state representative I'm fortunate to get to go to Nashville on your behalf and represent your thoughts and ideas on stage legislative issues as we honor our veterans on Veterans Day reminded of the sacrifices they have made for us they sacrifice their time to money and occasions there lie for the freedoms that you and I enjoy we can never say thank you enough so as we pause on Veteran's Day every day to say thank you to our veterans I want to encourage you to get to know folks in our community who have served the military go up to them after their story they really want to your conversation you may see an older gentleman and older lady with a hat on that says they serve the military thank you for a lot of folks who have served the last couple of decades we've been in Conflict throughout the world and our younger veterans are typically folks who don't want to talk about their experiences but I would have encouraged you to go and say hello to them and say it was very traumatic stress that our current measures are facing right now remember that that we got young people and chuckey-doak high school right now who are going to be going into the military so whenever we talk it messes day ceremony in the gym now I'm on my way ask our after-school our young folks who have signed up to go into the military and I want to thank you for your future service and you're going to be our future veterans that we cannot say thank you enough to you in the day and time when we've got so much opinion media out there in the politics in the world keep hitting US versus them on Veterans Day to Remember we need to come together and appreciate each other everyday and come together as a country what's a GM David Hawkins in order to serve you I want to say thank you to all our veterans into our arse to take care how to be an American where at least I know I'm free her today cuz there ain't no doubt I love you
