*  I am a graduate of East tenn State University where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary K-8 Education.

*  I have a Masters Degree in K-12 Education from Tusculum College.

*  In 2011, I added an Art K-12 certification to my Tennessee teacher's license.

Most of my regular teaching experiences have been in the elementary schools of the Greene County School System.  However, I taught Pre-K through 5th grade Art at Highland Elementary, in the Greeneville City School System, for two years part-time.  I have taught full-time Art 1 and Advanced Art classes at Chuckey Doak High School since August 2013.

My husband, Jerry, and I have been happily married for thirty-eight years.  We have two children, Sheena and Steven Ayers, that are grown and live on their own. We have a variety of interesting animals on approximately twenty acres of land.  Walnut Ridge Llamas is the name of our farm, and we currently have around 35 llamas, 2 miniature donkeys, 5 angora goats, three emus, and four cats.

We are also creating a RV Campground and hopefully will have it ready to open this Fall 2017 with 31 sites available.  It will be called, "The Lazy Llama Campground".  We will be providing art activities, llama hiking on the farm and off, stain glass classes, pottery classes, basketry and more when we open for business.   The community is welcome to participate.
