RuthAnn is from and currently lives in Johnson City, TN and has 25+ years of experience in college access programs. RuthAnn serves Chuckey-Doak full-time, 5 days a week.

The Class of 2024 TN Promise application opens for completion on August 1, 2023, at www.tnpromise.gov. Class of 2024 students has until November 1, 2023, to complete the scholarship application in order to become eligible. tnAchieves will begin communicating with all applicants after the application deadline, so it is important that students provide a correct, working personal email address and phone number when applying for TN Promise. Students must also provide parent/guardian contact information. Upon successful completion of the scholarship application, students will receive a confirmation email from the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation for their records.

The 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will open on around December 1, 2023, and should be completed based on student and parent(s)/Guardian(S) 2021 tax information. The TN Promise 2024-2025 FAFSA filing deadline will be March 1, 2024. The 2024-2025 FAFSA must be completed by this deadline to remain eligible for the TN Promise scholarship.
