Coach Donahue is a graduate of South Greene High School. Coach Donahue was in integral part of the District Championship team of 2004-2005. In his senior season, Coach Donahue led the 2005-2006 Rebels to a Substate appearance, South Greene's third appearance in program history, before bowing out to a powerful Alcoa team. Coach Donahue has garnered many awards including the MVP of the conference and region, All Greene County twice, All NET, and Greene County Player of the Year. Coach Donahue accumulated 1319 points for his high school career.  Following a successful career at South Greene, Coach Donahue continued his playing career at both Walters State Community College and Milligan College. While at WSCC the Senators finished 8th in the nation after a trip to the National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. A two-time captain, Coach Donahue finished his college career with over 800 points. Following his playing career, Coach Donahue returned to his alma mater, WSCC, to become an assistant coach under Hall of Fame Head Coach Bill Carlyle. Following a stint at WSCC, Coach Donahue joined the Greeneville High School staff for one year before joining the CDHS staff. Coach Donahue has been an important addition to the advancement of the program. In his first year at CD, Coach Donahue played an integral role on the District Championship winning team. This was the first time in 20 years the Black Knights had won the District Championship. Coach Donahue has many roles within the team including working with the posts and forwards, scouting opponents, and game planning.


Married to Cortni Donahue (CDHS class of 07). Assistant Coach for CDHS football team. Teaches World History, Bible History, U.S. History and Intro to Business at CDHS.
